My Growing Influence

I’m starting to spot some of my material turning up here and there. Famous polemicist, like famous comics, tend to “borrow” material from the less well known cranks, like me. It looks like Andrew Klaven has “borrowed” one of my bits.

  1. Those truly rare great men, as well as lesser men who achieve greatness when the moment demands it, were almost always considered cranks in their time, science or politics. How little we bother to appreciate that because it would imply that the majority, us, are always in fact a permanent class of cranks. Oh we see how inferior the customs and opinions of the dead are, but of course that fate could not visit us.   2. Or, facts are facts, and more than one person at a time can see and determine them to be facts. Ask Alexander G. Bell… I do realize this is not the perfect comparison (fact vs. creation), but I don’t have all frikkin’ day, here.
