One of the ten most compelling books I have read is True Believer. It is one of those books that leads you to reevaluate everything you thought you knew and consider a whole bunch of things you don’t know. After reading it the first time, I know longer had much respect for a whole class of writers that claim to be on the right. Guys like Ramesh Ponurro suddenly were exposed as hacks and poseurs.
