The Mosque on the Hill

One of my themes here is to point out the similarities between modern Progressives and the Islamic lunatics in the Middle East. Both sides of that equation would deny the equality symbol exists, but that’s the nature of the fanatic. The hatred of Islamists toward the West, in most respects, is due to the similarities they perceive in the other side. You always hate most in others what you fear about yourself.

One way to look at ISIS is in the context of the sectarian wars within the Christian West starting with the 30 Years War. The first schisms eventually lead to increasingly extreme  rejections of the dominant sect culminating in the Puritans who left the West entirely and set out for the wilderness. The folks who landed on Plymouth Rock were the ISIS of their day.

It turns out that Obama agrees with me.

This Thanksgiving, President Obama is calling for Americans to lend a helping hand to another group of pilgrims fleeing persecution.
“Nearly four centuries after the Mayflower set sail, the world is still full of pilgrims – men and women who want nothing more than the chance for a safer, better future for themselves and their families,” Obama said in his weekly address Thursday. “What makes America America is that we offer that chance.”

The president praised Americans who have offered to open their homes to refugees fleeing war-torn Syria.

“One woman from Pennsylvania wrote to me to say, ‘Money is tight for us in my household. … But I have a guest room. I have a pantry full of food. We can do this,’ ” Obama said.

“Another woman from Florida told me her family’s history dates back to the Mayflower — and she said that welcoming others is part of ‘what it means to be an American,’ ” he added.

Obama called for citizens to put the “generosity” of America on full display by welcoming refugees into the country with arms wide open.

“I hope that you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving, surrounded by loved ones and full of joy and gratitude,” he said. “And together, may we all play our own small part in the American story, and write a next chapter that future generations can be thankful for.”

Obama, like all Progressives, sees the West as a fading force in the world. The future will belong to the yellow, brown and black. You really can’t blame him for that. That’s what the facts are telling us.Just look at the television for a short time. It’s Pale, Male and Stale being pushed aside by young and vibrant. The Puritans had the same view of Europe in the 17th century.

There’s a new Audi commercial that captures this perfectly. It starts with an old white guy thinking no one is coming for the Solstice celebration. He’s putting away all those old western culture items, preparing to have dog food for dinner. Then, his mixed race family arrives and all is good. His hilariously black granddaughter informs him how Audi is responsible for her being there. Not hard to see the point of that ad.

Audi is letting you know, old white man, that the future is not you. Audi is the future, helping bring the black, brown and yellow to you. You better embrace it. That way you can have some peace in your final years. Otherwise, it’s dog food for you. Or, worse.

That’s ultimately why the Left across the West wants to flood your neighborhood with young male Arabs. You’re not just the past. You’re a wilderness, a nothing, into which the vibrant people of the future will arrive and build a new mosque on the hill. In the process, that means slaughtering the locals and pushing them into holding pens, but let’s not notice that and instead pretend our sacrifice will be noted by Allah God.

This is all a natural part of the rise of global corporate power. Corporations crave constant expansion of sales, which demands that they sell to the numerous black and brown and yellow and leave behind the fewer white who started the corporations. Whether the non-whites will have the ability to generate the cash flow of the whites remains to be seen.

Deash, the caliphate, and those running our government share something deeply in common. They are as enexstricably linked as if they where sworn allies. Neither has intrinsic legitimacy. And they are all cultural marxists of one sub species or another. Because for all their corruption and force of violence and ideology, and the illusion of power they construct, niether holds a shred of moral high ground. For either to win it is impossible, regardless of their force and violence, because it is impossible for them to obtain and hold the moral high ground. In truth in spite of it. This… Read more »

Am visiting a distant city and after Thanksgiving dinner watched the abysmal Chicago – Packers Game. At home I never watch Football in real time as a DVR permits skipping ads. Not this time, we were forced to view the ads and saw miscegenation encouraged and white guys disparaged repeatedly. I was nauseated and discussed it with my wife at breakfast. She usually does not agree with me on things of this nature but not today as she was shocked as well. This morning I was surfing the Internet and was disgusted when I watched two YouTube videos where the… Read more »

The Zman is right. The Pilgrims that came over on the Mayflower were *not* persecuted for their religion. That is a myth that keeps getting repeated over and over. The pilgrims were Puritans. What they espoused was a religion that in their minds had been “purified” of all vestiges of Catholicism, and they wanted everyone in their community to be just like them. Unfortunately for them, the majority in England were Anglican (Church of England) or Presbyterian, which according to the puritans, still had too many rites and ceremonies left over from the Catholic church. The laws in England at… Read more »

Except that the Pilgrims were fleeing from persecution, while the Moslems cause it the world over.

True, but in their mind they were fleeing persecution, just like the Moslems. Moslems always consider themselves persecuted if they are not the dominant ideology, and constantly work to amend the situation. Hence the political agitation, suing to assert “rights”, then finally stabbing people, bombings, supposedly random shootings, and beheadings. The pattern is always the same.

In early New England when enough people could no longer stand the brand of intolerance of the in group they picked up and moved a few miles to found another town, and so on. John Williams even carved out a state for that purpose in 1636. It was impossible to harang people who weren’t there anymore. That difficulty has since been solved. There is no escape.

All of the media now is devoted to pushing an agenda that white is done. So much so that, in the example of television, it is very hard to see say a family of pale people. They now have to be black, brown, yellow or preferably mixed race and so very happy with it. Even ads for sofas have a black man and a white woman being happy sat on them, perhaps suggesting they will soon be putting it in their home and before long all their cute little mixed-race children can bounce on it happily. The BBC here —… Read more »

Have you noticed that nearly all mixed-race couples on TV are black man – white woman? You hardly ever see white man – black woman. I really think that is because of the sensitivities of black men.

I have to say here that a relative of mine (a normal, sports playing and very nice white male) is married to a black female. From the odd times I have met them I can see the man is happy, the children are a delight and the mother… well, somewhat lazy though according to other relatives more familiar with their situation she is gradually improving her attitude. Sadly she will still post frantic and ill-advised social media messages about injustice and even, though she is not American, loves Obama. I have, successfully so far, avoided telling her the man is… Read more »

Yes, I have two white friends — both men — married to black women. My point is that this is not reflected on tv, at least not in America. In tv, the mixed race couple is nearly always a non-white man. I can think of only one exception.

You are right, Dom: our media and ‘experts’ have the world, as we say in England, arse over tits.

We, who aren’t in the media, have a chance to see the world just as it is, not as can be pretended or wished for.
