A Most Excellent Podcast

This week, the show is a most excellent podcast. This is due in part to the events of this week. Nothing inspires me more than being in the middle of a crap storm. I’m also getting better at this. I feel more comfortable, but I also feel more confident. That’s because a lot of you have been kind enough to send along encouragement, It means a lot and I truly appreciate it.

This week is mostly about the rage virus infecting our rulers and their hired thugs on our streets. I’ve also got a bit on a SJW grifter, a bit on Elon Musk, something on the cuckening and a bit at the end that I like a lot. I was going to call it “A Letter From A Charlottesville Jail” but I don’t know if most people would get the reference. They would assume I was in jail. But look it up and you’ll see my meaning maybe.

This week, Spreaker has the full show. YouTube has the full show and some new graphics to distinguish the bits from the full show. I am now on iTunes, which means the Apple Nazis can listen to me on their Hitler phones.

I have been threatening to stream this to GabTV amd this weekend I plan to finally do it. I’ll update the site when that is working, if I’m able to do it.

The Z-Blog Power Hour: The Good Podcast

This week, I was a bit rushed as I’m posting this on Friday morning now, so I lost a day, but also have some things brewing this weekend, which meant getting my normal weekend work done ahead of schedule. But, it is good practice as doing this sort of thing is always going to be a compromise. This is not my full time job, so it means doing this when time permits, even when I have limited time.

This week, Spreaker has the full show. YouTube has the full show and a couple of segments. I am now on iTunes, which means the Apple Nazis can listen to me on their Hitler phones.I’ll also note that I am doing fewer YouTube segments as it is a pain to upload to their crappy interface. I may drop YouTube entirely, but I’ll keep doing it for now. I will be streaming to GabTV at some point, so maybe I’ll swap out YouTube for Gab when I get that going

The Z-Blog Power Hour: The Bad Podcast

This week, the podcast stinks. For some reason it was just not coming to me and I struggled getting it done. Hence the title. That’s the thing you have to learn in all endeavors is that sometimes, good enough is good enough. On the other hand, you will always be your harshest critic, which means you can easily make things hard on yourself by trying to hard. Figuring out when to put down the tools and call it a day is part of the process.

This week, Spreaker has the full show. YouTube has the full show and some new graphics to distinguish the bits from the full show. I am now on iTunes, which means the Apple Nazis can now listen to me on their Hitler phones. You’ll also a note I have renamed this thing, which is explained in the podcast.

I will be streaming this to GabTV at some point, but I have some wrenches to turn before I can get that working. I’ll update the site when that is working, if I’m able to do it.

The Z-Blog Power Hour: The Freak Show

This week was a big test for the project as I was traveling and that meant recording this thing on the road and when time permitted. The result was some strange acoustics in some parts and an on-the-fly editing job at the airport.

I am at American Renaissance this weekend, so I will not be posting much on the site. I expect to return on Sunday and provide a full report on Hate-Fest 2017 as soon as I get settled in on Sunday

The Z-Cast: Radio Days

This week I’m continuing the experiment. The segments are shorter and there are more of them, but organized into logical groupings. I think I may have struck on an idea that will work for me. Each week, I’ll do bits around a few themes or topics. That makes it easier to select material and keeps me from rambling on like a lunatic. I’m finding that there’s so much in the news I can rant and rave about that I need to set limits.

I also did some tinkering with the sound quality. People told me I needed to crank back the volume a little and trim the high parts of the audio. In the process of learning how to do that, I found out that cheaper gear and software, means it is much harder to do this efficiently. It looks like another item to the learning curve will be figuring out how to select the right equipment for the job. But, I only have a whole $30 invested thus far.

This week, Spreaker has the full show. YouTube has the full show and an image that stays put the whole time. I’ve also offered up on YouTube segments from the show for those with a short attention span. I think I like this method going forward. Next up will be loading up iTunes with the podcast, but that’s a bit more involved. I want to use their API rather than do it manually so I’ll be unriddling that this week, as time permits.

The Z-Cast: Episode 2

This week I try to build on lessons learned from week one. I have decided to create both a full episode and a collection of sub-episodes. The full podcast will be on my Spreaker page and on my YouTube channel. The sub-episodes will be on the YouTube channel only as that is just easier for me. Converting these things to the YouTube format and uploading them is a pain. There has to be a better way, but for now I’ll just suffer for my art.

The Z-Cast: Episode 1

Here is the debut episode of what I will call the Z-Cast, until I come up with a better name or I am chased off the internet. It is a first effort so it has all the flaws of every first effort, but you have to start somewhere. Every actor has his first role. Every surgeon has his first operation. Every hit-man has his first kill. I have a long way to go between here and good, but I’m hoping it is fun learning how to make the trip. Of course, comments and commentary are encourage.
