Happy Happy Fun Time

As the title suggests, this week’s show is about the good news that is out there if you care to look for it. This side of the great divide tends to focus on the negative stuff, often to the exclusion of the positive. That often leads people into despair, which is never a good thing. Despair is a sin for a reason. The antidote to despair is not unwarranted optimism, but reasonableness. The world may be going to Hell in a hand basket, but there are still good things happening out there.

The worst part of despair is those who fall into it almost always try to pull the rest of us into their pit of misery. They cook up elaborate conspiracy theories about how great forces are working to turn the lights off on civilization. They become entities who live to suck the joy out of life for those around them. Just as living well is the best revenge, enjoying life is the best counter to despair. Life is short and even in these dark times there is plenty that can make you laugh.

That’s always a good tell. Whenever the Left is in high spirits, you know they have a firm grip on things and are feeling confident. When they are sour faced and miserable, you know they are gripped by fear. Look around and you can’t find a single lefty that is not filled with anger, angst and dread. That alone should be a morale boost. Sure, they darken every corner with their ugliness, but their misery should give us hope, because it means they fear it is all slipping away from them.

It is also good to keep in mind that our enemies rely on fear, uncertainty a despair to keep us disorganized and inactive. Much of what we are seeing in the news these days is about spreading the FUD. These people have turned their hatred of Trump into a weird religious experience. Like people waiting for space aliens to arrive, they are sure the end point of their obsession is the end of the orange man in November. That can only happen if they convince us the end is certain.

On a personal note, this is also the time of year when I tend to cheer up, as the summer is nearing an end and autumn is not far off. Summer is my least favorite season, while autumn is my favorite time of year. Winter is my second favorite season, so around now, like the world anticipating the return of Persephone in spring, I’m looking forward to her going back to the underworld. That, of course, tends to put me in good spirits, so a show about the positive things seemed like a good idea.

This week I have the usual variety of items in the now standard format. Spreaker has the full show. I am up on Google Play now, so the Android commies can take me along when out disrespecting the country. I am on iTunes, which means the Apple Nazis can listen to me on their Hitler phones. Rhetorically Speaking

It is a double feature weekend! In addition to the normal podcast, I sat down with the guys at Myth of the 20th Century to talk about modern finance, American economics and ancient Athens. They are a good group and do some very interesting stuff on their shows, so I hope everyone listens. I think they will have the show posted later today or maybe tomorrow. I’ll post a link here and all the other places I frequent. That means about three hours of me this weekend.

This week’s show is a bit of an attic cleaning. Whenever I think of something that could be useful in a show or post, I put it on the list. Once I get enough of them, in theory, I’ll do a post on them or a podcast on the general theme of the items. That’s the theory, but in reality, I often ended up with a bunch of stray thoughts that don’t really fit in with one another all that much. This week I took some of those that were very loosely related to one another and did them as segments.

The thought initially with these ideas was to do a long post or maybe a podcast on how to deal with that crazy lefty in your life around the holidays. All of us have at least one lunatic that we have to deal with whether we like it or not. A guide to dealing with the lunatic in your life seemed like a fun idea. Maybe I’ll do it one day, but for now I just wanted to clean up the list and so this week I have a show about the rhetoric we confront when dealing with lefty and his proxies.

Technical Note: The site was down for a good while overnight. It seems that traffic is going up faster than capacity. Last spring, I had to upgrade the server and bandwidth to match the demand, but demand keeps going up. That’s a good thing, but it means another upgrade is on the horizon. For now, there may be some outages from time to time until I get that sorted. I hope to fold this in with the planned site upgrade later this year, so I’m hoping to make the current setup work for now.

This week I have the usual variety of items in the now standard format. Spreaker has the full show. I am up on Google Play now, so the Android commies can take me along when out disrespecting the country. I am on iTunes, which means the Apple Nazis can listen to me on their Hitler phones. Paradoxes

It is impossible to assess your age, at least in the context of prior ages, as you have perspective on those prior ages that you lack for your own age. There’s also the fact that you can’t really remember how something felt. You can remember that some event caused you pain or made you happy, but you cannot recall the feeling. It is why we have the expression, “Time heals all wounds.” Still, one cannot help but sense that this age is peculiar and paradoxical compared to prior ages.

We seem to be at the great confluence of several historical cycles. One cycle coming to an end is the story of the American empire, which itself is the final chapters of the the Anglosphere and the Industrial Revolution. Another is the closing of the post-Cold War interregnum. We’re also in the final stages of the Enlightenment. Of course, we are at the dawn of the demographic age. There are probably other historical cycles ending and beginning, but those are the obvious ones.

As a result, we live in a time of glaring contradictions. Just as physics seems to have hit a dead end, our own story seems to have reached a point where it seems impossible to resolve the contradictions while maintaining the old beliefs. The only thing everyone can agree upon is the present order is not working. That in itself is a paradox, because for most of our history, great material excess was the goal. Just as we have reached that point, everyone is unhappy with the result.

Of course, it is possible that people in prior ages had the same sense, which is what drove them to alter their trajectory. The great social and political movements that came into being in the 19th century did not spring from nothing. Industrialization and urbanization failed to live up to their promise. The bloody resolutions to those social conflicts in the 20th century got us to this point, so maybe this is just the natural cycle of human history. We resolve one conflict in order to confront another.

Still, it does feel like we are living in an age in which all of the old truths we have always accepted are being disproved. A third of the country is out of work, which we were told was an untenable condition, but no one seems to notice. Revolutions from the top were supposed to be a clever turn of phrase, not a real thing. Yet, here we are living through a revolt of the ruling class against the majority population. The weirdness of this age is something that cannot be dismissed.

That is the value of thinking about paradoxes. They cause you to reassess your thinking and reconsider old assumptions. The great test of any theory is reality. This is why libertarianism is nonsense. It exists only in theory and only in isolation. The defenders of the status quo have to deal with the fact that in many cases, the reality of liberal democracy has fallen short of what was promised. In some cases, the important ones, we seem to be getting the opposite of what was promised.

Unplugged

Every once in a while, I get complaints about reading too much from news articles in the show, rather than talking about the subjects. The logical response is to then do a show in which I have no prepared material. I just turn on the mic and start talking for an hour on whatever happens to come to mind. After all, the pendulum is supposed to swing from one extreme to the other. That is what I have done this week. I just let it rip on a few topics that were on my mind when I started.

The thing is, I could probably go on a ten hour, Chris Farley rant without too much trouble, other than the possible stroke. I don’t know about anyone else, but I am done with the ongoing revolution. It seems that everywhere we turn, there is some new madness or new tax on our patience. It is close to impossible to live a normal day, much less a normal life now. Even the most basic task brings a reminder that we live in a continent sized lunatic asylum.

All of us are highly adaptable, but there is a limit. Adapting to some new style or process is not so hard. There is no logic to clothing styles, for example, so you don’t have to give up your sanity to embrace the new thing. The same is true of some new way of doing something. If it saves time or reduces error, adapting to it makes sense, so you reprogram your mind to it. What we see going on around us is insane and you can never really adapt to madness. You just tolerate it.

Toleration has its limits. The other day I got an e-mail from a client. I’m not sure why I was included, as it was an internal e-mail to employees. The point of the e-mail was to suggest all employees list their preferred pronouns in their signature. It’s not enough that these people feel the need to deny reality. They insist that the rest of us participate in their madness. Everywhere you turn, someone is trying to make you carry the burden of their madness. It is tax that is never paid in full.

All of us are amazed, to one degree or another, at how the crazies keep finding new ways to be crazy in public. I keep waiting for the people in charge of this simulation to halt the game and laughingly admit they were just having some fun. The truly remarkable thing, however, is that some otherwise normal person has not had a falling down moment. If any age cried out for a vigilante it is this one. It is as if the people in charge are trying to push us to the breaking point.

Maybe our side is reading it all wrong and the vast majority of people think what is happening is the best thing ever. The people in charge keep making that point, but that seems unlikely. Instead, it seems that most people are quietly seething. They distract themselves as best they can in order to avoid being miserable, but whenever the revolution intrudes into their lives, their jaw tightens and their fist clinch. There are a lot of pissed off people walking around these days.

The Upshot

I was in the diner picking up my lunch and they had ESPN playing on the television in the main seating area. They used to have CNN playing during the panic, but that was when they were not allowed to seat customers. I’m pretty sure when they were allowed to seat people again, those people complained about CNN, so they changed it to something they thought was neutral. The lunch crowd at most places, especially old-fashioned diners, is going to be old and white.

Of course, ESPN is now hate-whitey all the time. I have not watched the channel in so long I no longer recall when I last watched it. Probably a sporting event of some sort back in the before times. While I was there, they had a parade of famous blacks on to complain about white people. The absurdity of rich blacks moaning about racism is lost on the blacks, but I suspect it is not lost on whites. There were more than a few angry faces looking at the television while they chatted at lunch.

It is hard to avoid your own bias in times like these, but I do wonder if our rulers have inadvertently created a problem for themselves by politicizing sports. Watching sports was the last refuge for white people. There is a pretty strong correlation between interest in sports and the politicization of society the last three decades. The Cold War ended, liberal democracy was let off the leash and then everyone crowded into sports venues to escape the relentless spread of politics.

Of course, with the long sports holiday due to the panic, one that could probably be extended through the year, that refuge does not exist. Lots of normal white people with only a passing interest in politics are now facing the grim reality of what America has become over the last few decades. The great doses of Soma that was the NFL, for example, are now going to be the opposite. Instead of putting whitey in a trance, they will rub in his face the fact that he is now forced to wash the feet.

Again, this could be my own bias at work. A year ago, I would be looking forward to college football season. It was the last sport I watched with any regularity. I like the traditions and variety. Now, I have no interest. They could play the games in my front yard and I’d close the blinds. I’ve moved past disinterest into outright hatred of the whole sports entertainment world. The reason is I hate that they have decorated it with their vulgar and degenerate politics.

Time will tell, but the magic of human society is that twenty percent of any population is the threshold for change. Self-identified Progressives are 20% of American society, but they run everything. Muslims are about 15% of France now and they are pushing around the natives. In both cases, they are well organized, but it just shows how a society can be ruled by a minority. If 20% of white people are red-pilled by the current race war, the nature of white people changes in a hurry.

Letters To The Underground

We live in an odd time. It is not just what is beamed to us by the media, but what is happening in the more mundane areas of life. Drive around the typical business park and the parking lots are empty. Even as the lock down stuff lightens up, people are not returning to work. According to the government, over 40 million people have been furloughed over the last two months. That would explain the empty parking lots, but it does not explain the busy streets. Lots of people are on the roads.

The working theory is that the people laid off from their work are just enjoying the extra benefits from the Federal government. The $600 per week check along with the normal unemployment means they have no disruption in their lifestyle. Covid has been a very long government financed vacation. That’s why the parking lots in the business parks are empty, but the streets are busy during the day. It would also explain why we don’t have a rush hour in the morning or the evening.

That theory will be tested in August, as the Federal checks are supposed to run out in July, assuming no extension. Another angle here though is the people still working are busier than ever. Despite the massive layoffs, work still goes on and the people not granted the extended holiday are either working from home or back in the offices doing more than they did before the shutdown. It is a real life example of the plot for a science fiction story. The term “working class” now has new meaning.

In my case, I am busier in the day job than ever. So much so that I’m taking next week off from the podcast just to get caught up. The last full day I’ve taken off was back in April and I’m not sure of the day. You make hay while the sun shines as a small business man, so I have no complaints. It is just another part of the mystery. Forty million out of work, whole swaths of the retail economy closed for months, but the people working are busier than ever. No one seems to notice this either.

Even crazier is we have been told since forever that mass unemployment leads to civil unrest, as people blame the government for the job losses. The civil unrest we are seeing, however, is people who have never worked and never intend to work. They are bums, layabouts and parasites. Their complaint is mostly toward the people who make it possible for them to remain alive. It is always popular to say the world has gone mad, but this time it may be more than a figure of speech.

Regardless, I will be taking a week off from the show. That will give me some time to get caught up on the day job. We are coming up on White People Independence Day, which is always a slow time for the site. In fact, the next two weeks have always been the slowest for traffic and comments. I’m hoping I can get caught up on the day job, so I can then get back on some other projects I have going. This week I cleared out the mail bag and inbox, so I’m clean for another month.

Happy Juneteenth

I was tempted to take this week off, given that it is the sacred holiday of Juneteenth, a day when all white people are supposed to contemplate their guilt. According to this newly minted ancient custom, whites are supposed to sit at home with the shades drawn and the lights off. It’s sort of like what Jews are supposed to do on their sabbath, except there’s never any forgiveness or the possibility for salvation. This new religion is a one-way street for white people. We’re all going to Hell.

While it is not official, you can be sure our corporate tyrants will try hard to impose this holiday on us. It has already started. My bank is closing early today in celebration of Juneteenth, a holiday they just heard of last week. You can be sure the other global pirates will follow suit for next year. Then there will be a push to make it a Federal holiday, which will get no resistance. The reason for that is anyone who would resist will be silenced or threatened, as Juneteenth intended.

Of course, this Juneteenth nonsense is just another vehicle for sowing despair in the ranks of white people. It is a form of ethnic cleansing. Historically, ethnic cleansing is accompanied by the destruction and removal of the cultural and historical evidence of the targeted people. We tend to focus on the murder and violence of the concept, but the real crime is the destruction of that which ties the current people to their ancestors and to one another. It is a program to steal their identity.

This is what we see all over America. The condition of white people is as a conquered people, but one that still thinks they are in charge. Popular culture is erasing all traces of whiteness. The corporate tyrants are bombarding us with anti-white messaging through their ads and conduct. If the people in charge were lizard people from another planet, no one would be confused about what is happening. Everyone would recognize all of this stuff as the acts of a conqueror.

It is not hard to see where they are headed with this Juneteenth thing. In addition to black history month, June will turn into anger and resentment month, with the 19th being the high holy day of anti-white hatred. The gays will have to shift pride month to July, but maybe they will get a holiday out of it too. The Stonewall gay riots carried into early July, so maybe Independence Day is refashioned into gay liberation day. It sounds insane, but just look around at what’s happening.

Deep Blackness

In this time of grieving and self-reflection, it is important for white people to think about their whiteness. It is what George would have wanted. In order to fully appreciate your whiteness, you must first understand blackness. This is something that gets missed in all of these discussions. Whiteness does not exist outside the context of blackness, because white people simply don’t care about whiteness. In order for them to care, they have to be surrounded by blackness.

Most white people, of course, have the good sense to not live around blackness, so they struggle with their whiteness. The struggle sessions at the company or college help, but they are not the same as experiencing deep blackness. When you live in a place like Lagos, you never stop experiencing blackness. It is all around you, like a fog that never lifts. The show this week is a journey into blackness so you, a white person, can understand blackness in order to understand your whiteness.

The thing that white people never quite get about black people is black people, especially the talented tenth, obsess over their blackness. The rank and file are not reading books on their blackness or attending lectures about blackness, but they still experience the world through their blackness. The exception is the very narrow dealings they have with other blacks. In their interpersonal relations with black, the fog of their blackness tends to lift. Otherwise, it is always black for them.

Of course, this is an exhausting way to live. It is why all of your dealings with black people are tense, even with those who are nice. There’s always that veil of blackness through which the black person sees you. It’s why people from Africa or the Caribbean always strike white people are super happy. Those blacks are not living in the fog of blackness like American blacks. They find this obsession with blackness bizarre and confusing, which is why they tend to not like American blacks.

It’s also why the current ructions are so vexing to whites. Life has never been better for blacks in America. Trump’s tweets about black unemployment are is ridiculous, but it is a fact that the material life of blacks was at a peak. Think back to the origins of the Black Lives Matter movement and it started on the college campus. Privileged black students began to agitate about their blackness. Here they are living like royalty relative to most blacks and they are full of rage.

That’s the thing about black identity. Since it is entirely negative, they can only assess their happiness relative to whites. No matter how good they have it, they cannot be happy without the full attention of whites. The only thing record unemployment did for blacks is give them more interactions with whites and therefore a greater awareness of their blackness. It turns out that black happiness is inversely proportional to their interactions with white people. White fatigue is real.

This week I have the usual variety of items in the now standard format. Spreaker has the full show. I am up on Google Play now, so the Android commies can take me along when out disrespecting the country. I am on iTunes, which means the Apple Nazis can listen to me on their Hitler phones. The anarchists can catch me on iHeart Radio. I am now on Deezer, for our European haters and Stitcher for the weirdos. YouTube also has the full podcast. Of course, there is a download link below.

Gentle Giant Week

In a week of left-wing riots, it seemed logical to do a show on the left-wing riots, so that’s what we have this week. There is so much material here that I could probably do ten hours and not cover everything. What we are seeing is the orchestrated suicide of the country by the ruling class. This is a not a revolution from above, so much a suicide from above. The new world these people imagine is less plausible than what libertarians imagine or even what anarchist imagine.

I’m thinking specifically of the current calls to end the police. The conventional conservatives are responding like the trained dogs they are by rushing to defend the police state and the police themselves. Many are combining the effort to prove the Democrats are the real racist with their defense of the police state by finding black cops to hold up as heroes. That sheriff from Wisconsin who wears the cowboy hat on TV must be very busy right now. He’s a super hero!

The thing is, this system cannot survive a month without the cops. Take the cops off the streets and the mob consumes the beautiful people neighborhoods. The usual suspect will be swallowing their jewelry and racing to the borders. All of the petty tyrants that have been pushing us around for the last two months over the ridiculous virus panic will be swinging from lamp posts. Not only will the mob lay waste to the people in charge, the normal people quietly seething will be suddenly unconstrained.

It is something that goes unremarked, but the cops exist to defend the rich people and the ruling class. Anarcho-tyranny is impossible without the cops. They are assigned to hassle normal people over petty things. They are the ones harassing normal people while making sure the spaghetti-armed Antifa types are safe. Go out this weekend and visit ruling class areas or your government buildings. They will have a full police presence, while the mob goes crazy in the cities.

That’s what is important about these calls to end the police. It is a sign that the people in charge want to be put out of their misery. Their self-hatred often manifests as hatred of us, but in reality, it is hatred of self that is driving them. They hate themselves, so they hate the world around them and they hate their ancestors who made it possible. This zeal to erase the past and destroy the present is a form of self-abnegation. They wish to erase their hated self as an extreme act of contrition.

No one should prevent them from doing it. We’re long past the point of defending society from the lunatics. There is nothing worth defending now. Let them deal with this gollum they created. It would be endlessly amusing seeing the mob chasing the beautiful people around in their burning neighborhoods. Imagine the cast of the cable chat shows being forced to grovel and plead to a mob of gentle giants. My goodness, that would be the best television those people made in their lifetimes.

Note: I did an interview with the Mama & The Pepes earlier this week. They run a music channel on D-Live called the White Art Collective. The interview is recorded, as no one trusts me on a live stream. I kid. It is just easier to record and edit these things than coordinate doing them live. The interview is scheduled to air tonight on their channel and 8:00 PM. Here is the link to the channel. Toss them a few bucks if you can, I think they have a link on the site for it.

Letters

I finally had the time to clear out the inbox and go through everything from the post office box, so for a day, at least, I’m caught up. One of the reasons I thought about doing a live stream or something similar was that it could be a way to answer mail each week along with the live questions. I’ve tabled that idea for now, as I have too many other things on my plate at the moment. The day job has been keeping me crazy busy of late, so I don’t need another project right now.

Another upside to doing a mailbag show this week is I was not tempted to talk about the ghetto riots spreading around the country. They have not started here in Lagos yet, but the locals are beginning to feel left out, so it is matter of time. Given that the lock down is still technically in place, they are just looking for an excuse to act up. With the new wave of censorship crack downs rolling out, it is probably a good idea to avoid talking about this stuff on YouTube right now.

The fact is, I don’t care all that much. I don’t care about these people as I don’t think they should be in the same country as me. We’re onto three generations now of trying to make this work and we still have blacks rioting in the streets. Many of the rioters in Minneapolis are foreigners. These are non-whites imported to punish the whites living in places that had few non-whites. Instead of sitting around Africa they were plopped into the Twin Cities by people who hate us.

The people responsible for Ilhan Omar are the problem, not the savages running wild in the streets. Sure, the rioters are the immediate problem if you live in one of these places, but they are a symptom. The cause is a ruling class that defines itself by its hatred of white people. You can be sure that the usual suspects are laughing themselves silly over what’s happening in Minnesota right now. As far as they are concerned, the people of that city are getting what they deserve.

That said, never let a crisis go to waste. Normal white people looking at this, even the ones beaten into self-hatred, sense the truth. This would not be happening if we just accepted the reality of race. Whites and blacks cannot live with one another. It can never work. No amount of speech laws and limits on white freedom will cause blacks to behave themselves. What we are seeing is the natural order, their natural order. It’s who they are and we need to accept it.

The fact is, these people rioting are not me. They are not my people. I feel no connection to them in the best of times. I don’t hate them. I live in a 70% black city and see black people every day of my life. I harbor no malice toward them, but I feel no connection to them either. On paper, we are fellow citizens. In reality we are people thrown together by fate and the vengeance of the ruling class. Pretending that these people are our people is just lunacy. We are not the same.

This is underscored by the fact that many of the rioters are recent imports from the former third world. They are guests rioting in the home of the host. That’s not a fair analogy, because a host invited his guests. These people are more like home invaders than guests. No one asked for them to be here. No one was walking around Minneapolis saying, “We need for Africans.” The people of that city were never asked if they wanted more Africans. They never got a say.

That’s the lesson here. These things we are seeing are not the fault of the people for voting for the wrong guys. The polices that have created these riots were never put up for a vote or even discussed openly. Whether it is race policy or immigration policy, the decisions were all made in the shadows. The public was never given a chance to have their say in the matter. If Trump wants to send the National Guard somewhere, send it to the halls of Congress. That’s where the trouble lies.
